1 Disclaimer
- The City shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to life, body or property, resulting from the actions taken based on the information delivered by email or provided by this Service.
- Temporary delay or interruption may occur in the Service without prior notice due to the factors such as installation of communication line, system failure, emergency or regular maintenance, natural disaster, war, terrorism, reasons attributable to telecommunications company, and other compelling circumstances. The City shall not be liable for any damage suffered by the user or any third party arising out of the delay or interruption that may occur in the Service.
- The data collected from the seismograph are processed mechanically. Please note that in an event of problem in the seismograph, it can lead to inaccurate vibration levels being reported.
- Unauthorized reproduction, copy, storage,forwarding, modification or adaptation of the received information is prohibited.
2 Cost
Registration and information provision of this Service are free of charge. However, the cost of telecommunication incurred by email transmission, packet communication charge, web-browsing fee, etc. are to be borne by the user.
(※) The City does not charge any service fee to users of this site. Therefore beware of fake invoices and fraudulent billings.
3 Service deletion
- To register for this Service, you are required to agree with this terms and conditions beforehand. If you cannot agree, the registration will not be accepted.
- If messages cannot be delivered to you because the user is unknown, or your mobile phone is set to receive only messages from listed domains, registration will be deleted without prior notice.
4 Use of personal information
The email address that has been registered will not be used for any other purpose, than to use for provision of information from this Service. We will implement safety measures against loss, damage, falsification, leaks, etc. of information, and are committed to not disclose or provide your personal information to third parties without your consent. However, we may disclose to public authorities (government agencies, courts, police, etc.), upon request, based on the law and regulations.
5 Change of this Terms
- This Agreement is subject to change as need arises.
- The change in the Agreement may be notified in a reasonable manner. Sometimes, though, the user is not notified.
- Changes in the Agreement will be applied immediately.
